down pillows?

How do they compare to a regular pillow and how are the "down alternatives?"

3. Just be sure the pillows are HIGH quality. Most people who think they are allergic to down pillows are actually allergic to the dirt in average & low quality down pillows. I have no idea about down alternatives & I do not like down pillows, but my husband, our three boys & our guest beds all have down pillows on them. I just order them from qvc.com (brand name - Northern Nights)
